The Role

Reporting directly to a highly experienced Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the front-end success of our projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to work on a diverse range of projects in a supportive environment that values precision, collaboration, and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for projects ranging from $500k to $10M+.
Specialise in pricing multi-level office fitouts, end-of-trip facilities, lobby upgrades, and government/health projects.
Conduct thorough take-offs, scope reviews, and subcontractor negotiations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
Work collaboratively with the project delivery team to ensure seamless handovers.
Identify value engineering opportunities to provide cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
D&C experience highly desireable

About You

You are an estimator who thrives in a fast-paced fitout environment. You understand the nuances of working in live environments, heritage buildings, and complex stakeholder settings. To be successful, you will have:

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial fitout, refurbishment, or construction in Australia.
Sector Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Melbourne market, subcontractor networks, and current rates.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software and a strong grasp of construction methodologies for office, government, and health projects.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you know how to build rapport with stakeholders.
Mindset: A detail-oriented, proactive approach with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
